Mariana Khachatryan is the founder and CEO of K Music Academy, a distinguished educator whose students consistently excel in Annual Honor Recitals, State Conventions, and various competitions. Her mission is to inspire her students, motivate them to push their boundaries and nurture their passion for music. Mariana’s musical journey began at the age of seven, fueled by her profound love for the art. She studied piano at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Magnet Music School for gifted students, where she began participating in recitals, festivals, and concerts from the age of eight. Mariana earned her Master's Degree with honors from the Komitas State Conservatory, further solidifying her expertise and commitment to music education. With over 20 years of experience in teaching piano and music appreciation, Mariana combines deep knowledge with exceptional artistic talent. She has a unique ability to engage her students, demonstrating remarkable patience and dedication. From the very beginning, she emphasizes the fundamentals of musicianship, including finger technique, hand positioning, and the cultivation of a distinctive musical sound. Her primary goal is to guide her students in producing sounds that transcend the ordinary, fostering a profound connection to their musical expression.
